Dr. Rebecca Joy

Dr. Rebecca Joy graduated at the University of North Alabama with a Bachelor's Degree in Arts & Sciences in Psychology, Minoring in Biology, and took prerequisite classes for chiropractic school. She was accepted into Life University of Marietta, Georgia and received her degree in Doctorate of Chiropractic on June of 2020. She is licensed by the National Board of Chiropractic Examiners and the Alabama State Board of Chiropractic Examiners. She is also a member of the Chiropractic Society of Alabama.
While attending in the Doctoral program, Dr. Rebecca Joy was recognized for making the Dean's List and the President's List while studying in college. Outside of the main academic program, she received certifications in Pierce Results System, Webster Technique, and AMPED while studying in school. She furthered her studies in soft tissue rehabilitation by receiving a certifications for IASTM tools in Graston Technique and through the Rocktape company, and kinesio-taping certification through the Rocktape company as well.
She found her love for helping others by observing her parent's love and dedication to the community through their own career passions by her father, Dr. James Joy, specializing in dentistry, and her mother, Carolyn Joy, being a well-loved pharmacist by many. Dr. Rebecca Joy sought out chiropractic care on her own at the age of 17, and after receiving her first adjustment & many prayers with God, she knew she was meant to become a chiropractor.
