Meet Our Local Team of Professionals
Dr. Julie Hauring, D.C.
Hello! I’m, Dr. Julie, the chiropractor here at HealthSource of Hopkins. I am also a Yooper, dog-mom, Jaycee, small-business owner, lover of Hopkins, and optimist. My career brings me immense happiness and I am so excited to share my joy with the Hopkins community. When I’m not at the office treating patients, you can probably find me at a local event or at the dog park with my pup, Rosie.
I grew up in Houghton, Michigan where I attended Michigan Tech before moving to the Twin Cities area. I graduated from Northwestern College of Chiropractic in Bloomington, Minnesota. While attending, I earned additional certificates in Activator adjusting, Webster technique for pregnant women, extremity adjusting techniques, and nutrition.
My passion in chiropractic roots from junior year of high school. I remember my softball teammates taking six ibuprofen at once to rid their headache before practice each day – taking less just didn’t work for them anymore! I too suffered from the occasional headache but hated the idea of becoming dependent on a drug. I wanted to learn why people got headaches and what could be done to prevent them, rather than masking the symptoms. That’s when I discovered chiropractic.
Every day I get to show people how great they can feel without their low back aches, tight shoulders, migraines, tension headaches, shin splints, plantar fasciitis, scoliosis pain, shoulder impingement, rib pain - the list goes on! But chiropractic care has brought so much more than just pain relief- it enables people to do what they love.
What has your pain been keeping you from? Sleep, workouts, time with family, mental health, happiness?
If you are someone who has been dealing with an issue for so long that you consider the pain to be your “normal”, I encourage you to give chiropractic a try. I am passionate about teaching the community how chiropractic can help get you back to doing the things you love and living a more proactive lifestyle! Imagine how your life would be different if you didn’t have pain. What would that mean to you? Let’s find out.
In Good Health,
Dr. Julie Hauring
As Dr. Julie’s Chiropractic Assistant, Taylor’s phenomenal ability to multitask helps keep the office running smoothly and ensures patients get the best care they deserve! You’ll often find her in the Rehab room helping patients learn to strengthen and stabilize muscles with exercises. She will also be the friendly voice answering phone calls and helping you schedule appointments in our office.
Taylor’s interest in Chiropractic started after a recent injury and a history of digestive and anxiety disorders. After years of frustration, she found that chiropractic was the best alternative to medication and gave so much relief to more than just her spine. As a result, she was able to start enjoying the key values in her life again.
Outside of the office, Taylor is also a Professional PetSitter of 3 years! Her favorite activities are: outdoor sports, traveling, and painting. Taylor is happiest when she is with her animals, 3 dogs and 1 cat; Salem, Toby, Bijou, and Larry.
