HealthSource of Hopkins
Hopkins, MN 55343
Dr. Higgins was recognized as the Hopkins Person of the Year for 2017 through the Hopkins Business Civic Association. What a great honor as Dr. Higgins and HealthSource participates in their community, Civic Associations, and volunteers to give back. Other then being an active member in the Hopkins community, Dr. Higgins has been helping people find relief from pain as a chiropractor for the last 13 years. She specializes in tracking down the root cause of back, neck, shoulder, wrist, ankle and knee pain, and fixes the problem—not just the symptoms—so that the pain never returns. Dr. Higgins enjoys taking care of people of all ages—particularly babies and children.
Her own introduction to chiropractic came after having ACL repair surgery. A friend recommended that she try chiropractic for her knee pain that she continued to have even after going through physical therapy. She was skeptical about trying chiropractic but after she pursued chiropractic care, it changed her life. She was inspired to learn more about chiropractic and ultimately decided to devote her life to helping people through the chiropractic profession along with her degree in occupational therapy.

Dr. Brenda Higgins, D.C.
Dr. Higgins graduated from Palmer Chiropractic College in Davenport Iowa and opened her first chiropractic practice in 2005 in St Paul selling that clinic in 2013 prior to starting Healthsource in Hopkins in the fall of 2013. Dr. Higgins was introduced to chiropractic when she worked at a chiropractic office as an occupational therapist. It was an adjustment to her knee after having ACL surgery that made her a believer. Since then, she has been helping people create their own healing story and loves to work with people skeptical of chiropractic, as she was once herself. Dr. Higgins enjoys providing care to people of all ages, but does have extensive experience working with children who have developmental delays, as well as adults with asthma, chronic sickness, bronchitis, arthritic changes, female and male reproductive issues, and sport related injuries to name a few.
2004: Palmer College of Chiropractic; Davenport, Iowa (Doctorate) 1998: College of St. Catherine; St. Paul, Minnesota (Bachelors: Occupational Therapy) 1995: Kirkwood Community College; Cedar Rapids, Iowa (O.T.Assistant Degree)
