Dr. Ross Groenendyk, D.C.
Palmer College of Chiropractic (2009) - Cum Laude; Iowa State University (2005); Pella Christian High School (2001)
Dr. Ross was raised in Pella, IA and was a graduate of Pella Chistian High School in 2001. He received a Bachelor of Liberal Arts and Sciences degree from Iowa State University in 2005, and then was married to Jessica De Nooy, before moving to Davenport, IA. At Palmer, Dr. Ross was active in the Palmer Pediatrics Club and Gonstead Club. He was also very fortunate to have the opportunity to travel to Salvador, Brazil on a Clinic Abroad trip, where they set up clinics and gave free care to thousands of patients. Ross and Jessica's first daughter, Kynlee, was born in December of 2008 and he graduated, Cum Laude, from Palmer College in 2009. After graduation, they moved to Des Moines where Dr. Ross was an associate chiropractor for E.P. True Chiropractic, until June of 2011. At E.P. True Dr. Ross learned many valuable lessons, especially how to give exceptional chiropractic care. He also had the opportunity to serve as the official chiropractor for the Des Moines Bucs, from 2009 to 2011, as well as many local high school and college sports teams. Ross and Jessica's second daughter, Ainsley, was born in June of 2011, which added to the excitement of opening HealthSource Chiropractic and Progressive Rehab of Pella, in September of 2011. They were blessed with their first son, Tryce, who was born in June of 2014. Kynlee and Ainsley are currently attending the Spanish Immersion program at Pella Christian Grade School and Tryce will attend three school at Creation Station in the Fall of 2017. Jessica and Ross enjoy spending their free time with family and friends, along with camping, traveling, reading and going on walks and bike rides. Dr. Ross is also involved in his local church, the Exel Business Club, the BullMoose club of Des Moines, the Iowa Chiropractic Society and Zenith mastermind group.
After 10 years of experience as an administrative and clinical assistant, Tiffany became the Office Manager for HealthSource Chiropractic in 2013 and has been helping patients with their insurance and financial needs. She is married to her husband Chris, and they have 2 daughters. When she’s away from the office, Tiffany enjoys scrapbooking, spending time with her family, and watching the Sprint Car Races at the Knoxville Raceway.
Grady is our Rehabilitation Therapist; he obtained his B.A. in Exercise Science and Health Promotions from Central College, which makes his understanding of proper movement patterns and mobility a valuable asset to our team. Additionally, Grady is an assistant track and field coach at Pella Christian High School. A former collegiate track athlete, Grady has always been drawn to the health and wellness of not only himself, but also others around him as well. He enjoys Crossfit and will be obtaining his Crossfit Level 1 Certification later on this year. His core values shape who he is as an individual, and they are why he is a great fit for our team. His tips to a good life, be humble, be hungry and be happy.
Makenzie Harris is our rehab therpist. She recently graduated from Central College with a Health and Exercise Science degree. She started working at HealthSource in Pella after graduation, as a chiropractic assistant intern. In the fall of this year, she will be getting married and heading down to Marietta, Georgia to start her journey with chiropractic school. "Chiropractic has played a huge role in my life since I was 10 years old, and being a part of such an incredible clinic here in Pella has only continued to encourage my passion in the field."
Hunter Howe is a senior at Central College, studying athletic training. He grew up on a farm outside La Plata, Missouri. He likes all things outdoors and anything that involves food. Hunter has a passion for improving the well-being of the people around me and he thrives to make a positive difference everywhere he goes. After graduation, he hopes to continue on to graduate school. "I love working at Healthsource because of the people I work with, the patients I am able to help, and the many opportunities it provides."
