I am Bi-lingual Board certified and licensed Chiropractic Physician in Alabama, Florida and Colorado with over 12 years of experience. I am self-motivated, skilled communicator with initiative and focus. I love helping the patients I serve. I grew up in South Florida. I joined Peace Corps after receiving my Bachelor of Science degree from FIU. I served in the Dominican Republic for over 2 years, where I focused all my attention in preventative healthcare. My focus while overseas was to form groups to teach others how to teach themselves and continue the educational work well after I left. Some of the topics I focused on while there involved the accessibility of clean drinking water, building latrines, gardening, and Liga de la Leche (breastfeeding mothers) as well as teaching English. When I came back to the states I wanted to continue being involved with preventative healthcare. I moved to Marietta, GA in 2000 to pursue my studies to become a chiropractor. After graduation, I moved back to South Florida where I worked as an Associate. After a few years practicing, I moved back to Marietta, GA and joined my brother to help him grow his chiropractic practice. While on vacation in Colorado I met and married my husband, Jim Rachwitz. We stayed in Colorado and I opened my practice in Leadville. Leadville is the highest incorporated city in the United States at 10,152 ft. and after a few years up in the mountains with very thin air; we wanted to move back to the East Coast to be closer to our family.
