Mindy has been the Office Manager at HealthSource of Elk River for 10 years. She LOVES our patients and is grateful for the relationships she has made over the years. Our patients and Mindy's co-workers are the favorite part of her job! When Mindy is not at the clinic, she loves spending time with her two very active and sweet boys, ages 9 and 6.
Stephanie Ykema-Stunes, M.Om., Dipl. Ac.,, L.M.T.
Stephanie Ykema-Stunes has been a Massage Therapist for 13 years. She gets great results and enjoys treating many conditions including: Chronic pain, musculoskeletal pain resulting from car accidents and/or injuries as well as headaches. She also excels at reducing the effect of stress on our overall health and body due to day-to-day stress. She is trained in multiple massage technique(s) including: Swedish, Deep Tissue, Trigger-Point Therapy, Myofascial Release as well as Sports massage and Hot Stone massage.
Stephanie is also an Acupuncturist having graduated from Northwestern Health Sciences University with her Master’s degree in Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine in 2016. Acupuncture can be used to treat many different conditions and Stephanie looks at each patient to develop a unique treatment plan for them based on their circumstances and desired outcome from treatment. She uses traditional acupuncture as well as additional TCM modalities including: Cupping, Tui Na, Gua Sha, Auricular Acupuncture as well as food therapy, etc.
Beyond working in a healthcare setting, in her spare time Stephanie enjoys gardening, walking her dog and riding motorcycle. Stephanie lives in Fridley, MN with her husband, dog and two cats.
