Dr. William Gischia has 35+ years of experience in the healthcare field. Dr. Gischia spent over 25 years in private practice providing Chiropractic care, community engagement and education on the benefits of whole-body wellness. He served in the U.S. Military as an ER corpsman and EMT, his ship duties included training his shipmates on first aid. He was an X-Ray technician and sick bay corpsman aboard the naval ship. Dr. Gischia graduated from Palmer College of Chiropractic. Fun fact: he is the 7th Chiropractor in his family to graduate from Palmer! He has been married for 30 years and has two sons, both Michigan State University graduates (Go Spartans!) When he’s not at the clinic, he enjoys the outdoors and is an avid hunter and fisherman. He especially enjoys winter sports and camping. Pure Magic-

I’m scared of Chiropractors, I had disc issues in the past and all a chiropractic visit did is brought me pain. I’ve been to multiple chiropractors in the area with the same result. After a recent injury I figured I’d give HealthSource in Highland a try after a 12 year hiatus… they took a very innovative and new approach to my treatment. They took their time and explained the issues I have via X-ray and showed me a machine that they thought would help me. The tech is awesome. The results are amazing… I’ve never gotten any back pain relief from a chiropractor until now. The new methods and skill level of this clinic is unmatched in our area. Helpful and empathetic staff, clean facility with top notch equipment… Call them for a consultation, you won’t regret it.

I started going to Dr. Gischia in April of this year. I had been dealing with daily pain for a long time and finally made the decision to see a chiropractor. I had never seen a chiropractor and was very thorough in researching different chiropractors in the area.

I would like to start out by saying that I only leave reviews for very good or very bad things. That being said, I’m very happy that I researched Dr. Gischia and read the reviews and decided to try. New Year’s Day, I couldn’t get out of bed! I was taking Motrin and Aleve, etc, which I try to avoid taking any medications. I had to wait a few days to get in and after the first adjustment I didn’t take any meds! Yay! That was a great start. After getting X-rays, it shows deterioration throughout my spine and arthritis everywhere! Which I knew some of that from years of suffering! It was wonderful that Dr. Bill (Gischia)reassured me that with time and me doing due diligence that I can remain active. I’ve been going for almost a month now and we are working on me. I have definitely had some improvements and I intend to stay with my doctor and keep my appointments so that I can continue with my quality of life into a ripe healthy old age. The whole staff is just wonderful and pleasant, that’s always a plus for me! The office and rooms are clean and orderly. I have no negative comments to add to my review. If someone is seeking a good chiropractor, Dr. Gischia is the answer! I know many people who don’t believe that a chiropractor is helpful and necessary but honestly I feel that drugs and surgery is EXACTLY what I intend to AVOID. It took my body years of hard physical work to get this way, and it’s not an overnight fix I’m grateful to have a caring person that I can trust to adjust me.
