Dr. Joseph Lawrence is originally from Pascagoula, MS where he spent all his younger life. He currently resides in Madison, AL with his wife, Amy, and their two children, Mia and Sydney. Dr. Lawrence took his undergraduate studies at the University of South Alabama in Mobile, AL. He is a graduate of Parker College of Chiropractic in Dallas, TX where he earned his doctorate of chiropractic and his bachelor’s in anatomy. Dr. Joseph Lawrence stays abreast with the current treatment and literature through post-graduate courses. Some of the post-graduate training includes nutrition, balance/posture, rehabilitation, and spinal decompression. Dr. Lawrence previously served as the President of the North Alabama Chiropractic Society. He is licensed by the National Board of Chiropractic Examiners and the Alabama State Board of Chiropractic Examiners. He is also a member of the Alabama State Chiropractic Association.

Dr. Amy Lawrence hails from Milwaukee, WI where she spent most of her childhood. She began her career after graduating from Health Enrichment Center, Inc. in Lapeer, MI with a massage therapy diploma in 1998. After she relocated to the southwest, she continued her undergraduate studies and worked for a local chiropractor who would later become her mentor. After seeing the marked difference many patients experienced while under chiropractic care combined with the massage therapy she provided, her mind was made up. Dr. Lawrence graduated from Parker College of Chiropractic in Dallas, TX in 2004 where she also received her bachelor’s degree in anatomy. She has since continued her training for both credentials by taking post-graduate courses in myofascial release, Trager Method, myokinesiology, posture/balance, nutrition, and rehabilitation. Amy married fellow chiropractic student, Dr. Joseph Lawrence, after graduating from Parker in 2004. In January of 2005, they decided to move to Northern Alabama to start their careers and build a family. They have been working in the Huntsville area for over 10 years! They have been blessed with two beautiful daughters, Mia Kate and Sydney Anne. Dr. Amy loves how she is able to utilize her 20+ years of soft tissue training and interest in exercising in Healthsource’s “ladder of health” philosophy.

I went to a PT for the pain I had in my neck for years. It helped, but the pain still lingered. I came to HealthSource in Providence and they did a full exam and x-rays to see what was going on. It turns out that I had a lot of pressure on my discs in my neck, which was causing the pain. I did a plan with them that they recommended, and I have had barely any issues with my neck ever since!!

Not all chiropractors are created equal and these folks are proof! From the minute you walk in, the whole experience is just easy. The girls at the front desk are awesome, and the doctors actually listen and seem to genuinely care.
What stood out to me most is that it doesn’t feel like payment first, treatment second. Super thorough, did onsite x-rays, walked me through my issues and then built a care plan around what I actually would benefit from, including things like laser therapy and the right ways to stretch from their PT trainer.
Overall, it feels like they really look at the full picture instead of just rushing you in and out. Highly recommend!

I went in because my neck was so tense, it was causing pain in my left shoulder. Unbearable pain.
That was a month ago. Now I not only have no pain and can move my neck fully, but my left shoulder was injured in the Army and I have had minimal mobility in it since 2015. Now, not only can I do things I thought I’d never regain as far as my left shoulder goes, but although not completely 100 % fixed, I do have the majority of mobility back in that shoulder.

The care is amazing. The team is so nice and appreciative. The prices are astounding. And they even have speciality programs to work with you if you’re insurance doesn’t cover chiropractor.
They aren’t just a chiropractor, adjust your spine and done. They have full Physical therapy like routines to get you back into full recovery and alignment.
