Dr. Bob McIntosh, D.C.
Professionally, Dr. Robert (Bob) L. McIntosh provides a wealth of knowledge in Occupational Safety and Health through being a full time treating chiropractor. He teaches that the habits (movement) of the human body directs the health of the human body. Our daily movement can either be helpful or harmful, we all make those choices.
Dr. McIntosh teaches employee safety for the City of Rapid employees, he is a statewide presenter at the Society of Human Resources Managers, he performs wellness training for groups like the members of the Spearfish Chamber of Commerce, he has taught college level Anatomy at Black Hills State University and annual safety classes for kids in the elementary schools. We can say with absolute confidence that Dr. McIntosh's passion is to teach Safety, Health and Chiropractic to everyone.
Dr. McIntosh is Board Certified with the National Board of Chiropractic Examiners in Chiropractic, Physiotherapy, and Rehabilitation. He is a Native of rural Wyoming and loves calling Rapid City his home.
Dr. McIntosh attended BHSU in Spearfish for his undergraduate degree in Biology, prior to that he completed Diesel School to become a mechanic. Little did he know he would become a spine and movement mechanic. After his bachelor's degree he attended Western States Chiropractic College in Portland, OR. During his time in school Dr. McIntosh was appointed as the occupational safety program developer where he implemented back safety programs within many Portland businesses like Pepsi, UPS, Miller Paint Company, and Waxie Bathroom Supply. Dr. McIntosh has a true passion understanding our daily work habits (movement) and how they directly effect our health.
Dr. McIntosh is happily married to Jenny McIntosh, R.N. and they have been together for over 17 years. He enjoys gardening, hunting, fishing, and riding motorcycles. Dr. McIntosh aspires to have a healthy family and to someday rebuild the bright red 1969 AMX that his father gave him.

In 2020, Dr. Bob attended a week long training to learn Chiropractic Biophysics (CBP). This researched based technique focuses on the curve of the spine and how those relate to chronic pain in patients.
Dr. Zachary Bergman, D.C.
Dr. Zach Bergman provides a wealth of knowledge on health and movement through being a chiropractor. He enjoys teaching and working with patients as they get out of pain and most importantly stay out of pain. His focus is on mobility, alignment, and stability. Dr. Bergman strives to get people back to doing what they love doing and believes strongly that patients should never accept pain as normal. Dr. Bergman is Board Certified with the National Board of Chiropractic Examiners in Chiropractic and physiotherapy.
Dr. Bergman is a native of the black hills. He grew up and attended school in Sturgis, SD. He loves being back in the hills and calling Rapid City his home. Dr. Bergman attended and received his bachelor’s in biology at the University of South Dakota. Upon completion of his bachelor’s degree, Dr. Bergman attended Northwestern Health Sciences University in Bloomington, MN to pursue his Doctorate of Chiropractic. Throughout his years at Chiropractic school and continuing today Dr. Bergman has a passion for understanding what is causing someone’s discomfort and how chiropractic can help give them relief.
Outside of the clinic, Dr. Bergman enjoys being outside hiking, hunting, fishing, and cruising around the beautiful Black Hills. Several days a week, Dr. Bergman can be found staying fit by running and weight training. In order to stay healthy, Dr. Bergman is a huge component of chiropractic, even getting adjusted multiple times a week himself. Especially when he isn’t in pain!
Dr. Bergman enjoys every day in the clinic working with patients. He will focus on finding the root cause of your problem and give you the tools you need to be pain free. Dr. Elise Nolte, D.C.
As a Chiropractor, Dr. Elise Nolte provides a wealth of knowledge on health and wellness. She enjoys working with families as she uses a ‘whole person’ approach that is individualized. Her passion is to educate, assist, and treat families to achieve a better quality of life. She does this by looking for an underlying cause of any disturbances and then implements interventions and lifestyle adjustments needed to optimize normal function. Dr. Elise believes this optimal healing starts from the moment one is in the womb. Dr. Elise is Board Certified with the National Board of Chiropractic Examiners in Chiropractic and physiotherapy.
Dr. Elise attended the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities to study biology. She then went to Northwestern Health Sciences University in Minnesota to pursue her Doctorate of Chiropractic. Along with completing her doctorate degree, Dr. Elise pursued her passion for treating pregnant women, infants, and children. She did this by seeking extra training through the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association (ICPA). She is Webster Certified through the ICPA to help women through their pregnancy as well. Additionally, her passion for understanding the root cause of each patient’s pain prompted Dr. Elise to seek additional training for spinal curve assessment. In 2020, Dr. Elise attended a week long training to learn Chiropractic Biophysics (CBP). This researched based technique focuses on the curve of the spine and how those relate to chronic pain in patients.
More on Dr. Elise’s background: She grew up in La Crosse, Wisconsin with a wonderful family that always prioritized health and wellness. She knew that her path one day would be enriching the wellbeing of others. This is where her dream of being a Chiropractor started. Throughout the years, with the hustle and bustle of the city, she always felt the most connected to her health when she was active and outside in nature. That is why she instantly fell in love with the Blacks Hills, and the way of life here. She cannot wait to make the Hills her home.
