Meet Our Local Team of Professionals
Dr. Heath Marsh, D.C.
Two weeks after I married the love of my life I collapsed in the stairwell of our apartment, crippled by severe back and leg pain. At 25 years of age, I needed my wife to carry me up the stairs because the pain was just too much to bear. After undergoing emergency low-back surgery, I thought the problem was solved. Unfortunately the results were short-lived. Not only did the pain come back, but it was worse than before. When I finally tried chiropractic, it was undoubtedly a life-changer. Within a few month of treatment I was back on my feet, doing the things I loved pain-free! After experiencing the powerful impact of chiropractic, I decided to enroll in chiropractic school. I found motivation in the opportunity to positively impact lives the way chiropractic had impacted mine. After graduation, I moved to Sioux Falls and have been serving the community for over fourteen years now. The great thing is, I can truly tell my patients “I’ve been there before”. I strive to help them not only eliminate their pain but to truly get their life back through a treatment plan that helps them manage it long-term. Outside of the office my family comes first. When time allows, you’ll find me hunting, fishing, camping and playing golf (or at least attempting).
Dr. Derek Klatt, D.C.
For as long as I can remember, I have always been fascinated with the human body. Captivated by the way each body part plays a unique roll, I was driven to gain a better understanding of how it all impacted human health. Although I found myself leaning toward the medical field, it wasn’t until I completed my undergraduate degree at the University of South Dakota that I truly became interested in Chiropractic. The power of the human body and its ability to heal itself through basic manipulation was a tool that I knew I wanted to share with the world. After graduating from Cleveland Chiropractic Clinic in Kansas City, I decided to move back to my roots. Although it was hard leaving the great BBQ, sporting events and year-round golf weather, I was ready to give back to my community and find my home. Starting at HealthSource Chiropractic of Sioux Falls provided an amazing opportunity to join an expert team and offer patients a whole health approach to their care. Just as each patient is unique, each treatment plan is unique. Diving in and dissecting each individual offers the opportunity to answer the “why” behind pain and find a personalized plan to get them back to the things they love. The first time a patient told me they were able to run, pain-free, for the first time in years, I knew I was right where I belonged. Away from work, you’ll often find me outdoors with my lovely wife and our furry child, Loki. If I’m lucky, I fit in some time for golfing and kicking back at the lake.
