As an avid athlete growing up in Cleveland, Ohio, Dr. Adkins developed a profound understanding of the physical demands and challenges faced by active individuals. Excelling in basketball, soccer, and junior Olympic volleyball clubs into college, she experienced firsthand the toll that intense physical activity can take on the body. This personal journey ignited her passion for helping others achieve optimal joint health and mobility, leading her to a fulfilling career in chiropractic care. Dr. Adkins pursued her passion for health sciences at Cleveland State University, earning a B.S. in Health Sciences and Psychology. She then attended Cleveland Chiropractic College in Kansas City, where she obtained her Doctorate of Chiropractic. Dr. Adkins is committed to continuous learning and has completed extensive training in functional movement screenings for injury prevention, including coursework from the Selective Functional Movement Assessment (SFMA) and Functional Movement Screen (FMS). Additionally, she is certified in Dry Needling from the Integrative Dry Needling Institute (IDN), further enhancing her ability to provide all-inclusive care for her patients. Dr. Adkins chose to join HealthSource because of their shared commitment to comprehensive, patient-centered care that is tailored to each individual patient. I had suffered a lower back injury during Crossfit and the pain continued to get worse over time even with rest. A gym coach had been dealing with injury and suggested HealthSource Chiropactic. I took their advice and I am glad I did. The entire staff at HealthSorce are amazing and make you feel welcome the moment you walk through the door. HealthSource did a full evaluation and x-rays to diagnose the issue causing my pain. They then developed a recovery plan to work on reducing and eventually eliminating my pain. I am a little over halfway through my scheduled appointments and I am now back in the gym with some modified movements to build strength and continue my recovery. I had been dealing with lower back pain and right shoulder pain for quite some time before coming to HealthSource in Strongsville. In the past, other chiropractors would simply adjust me and say “see you next week,” but my experience here has been completely different.

From the friendly front desk greeting to the thorough exams, the care is much more comprehensive. Dr. Tori created a treatment plan that included chiropractic adjustments along with physical therapy, laser therapy, spinal decompression, and dry needling…all based on what I personally needed.

One thing I really appreciate is that everything is done in one place. I didn’t have to go somewhere else for xrays or physical therapy, it’s right there in the office under the watchful eye of Payton!

I’ve been on a full‑blown back‑pain odyssey. It started with cortisone injections—my temporary superheroes—who swooped in, helped for a moment, and then vanished with a dramatic “godspeed.”

An MRI finally revealed the plot twist: a torn disc and a bulging disc. The recommendation? “More injections!”… with zero acknowledgment of the actual disc issues. Then a new doctor looked everything over and said, “You’re fine. Just take Tylenol Arthritis.” I couldn’t believe it.

That’s when I decided to take matters into my own hands and called Healthsource Chiro in Strongsville. I had no idea if they could help, but I made the call—and I’m so glad I did.

After about eight appointments, I can honestly say I couldn’t be happier. They spent real, meaningful time with me upfront—digging into what was going on, looking at the whole picture, and building a personalized plan. My program includes decompression therapy, chiropractic care, and physical therapy working together like a well‑coordinated team.

And the staff? Every single person there is fantastic. They run the place like a well‑oiled machine—professional, friendly, and genuinely passionate about helping people feel better.

The biggest surprise: I’d had a painfully tight left side of my neck for months, to the point where I couldn’t turn my head. I never even mentioned it to them… and it’s completely gone.
