Dr. Casey Carrillo was born and raised in Dallas, Texas, where her passion for sports and movement began at an early age. She played collegiate soccer and was part of a team that advanced to the Final Four—an experience that shaped her competitive drive and lifelong commitment to athletic performance and injury care. Knowing she wanted to stay involved in sports beyond her playing career, Dr. Carrillo earned a degree in Athletic Training and went on to work with the FC Dallas men’s professional soccer team in Frisco, Texas, as well as the U.S. Olympic Development Program in California. These experiences solidified her passion for helping athletes recover, perform, and stay healthy at the highest levels. Dr. Carrillo earned her Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Parker University in Dallas and has been practicing with HealthSource for over four years. She is certified in NeuroEmotional Technique (NET) and is deeply passionate about continuing education, with a particular focus on post–motor vehicle collision treatment and improving outcomes for disc-related conditions. This advanced training allows her to address both the structural and neurological components of pain while delivering evidence-informed, results-driven care. She is also proud to serve as the chiropractor for the Ice Flyers, continuing her work with athletes and active individuals. As a chiropractor, Dr. Carrillo’s goal is simple: to treat the problem at its source and get you back to doing what you love. She takes a personalized, comprehensive approach to care—whether working with athletes, busy parents, or patients recovering from auto-related injuries. Honestly, I TRULY believed I’d already given a review a long time ago, but probably better now that I’ve been coming for 3 years. When I first started here, I was very worried of making things worse for myself since I have difficulty just relaxing, but they started with certain things until I felt comfortable for the next position. For certain things that required me lying down, I would bring something to fidget with my hands and it was never an issue. My brain doesn’t always process directions with instructions as quickly, so it’s nice they are patient and I never feel rushed. As far as costs, they have plans, programs (and I’m pretty sure magic) just all them and be honest about the pains and issues you have. They have a lot machines, gadgets, bands, and doodads to help get you where you need to be.
My husband has been with HealthSource longer than me and he has pins & plate in his neck. They have also been able to be involved in his care after having someone hit his truck from behind 2 years in a row. (Crazy, right!?) They are great at hearing your concerns or if you have a preference for one person or another, they are understanding and respectful. Honestly, I’ve become quite comfortable with most of the staff (I can be a lil shy with new folks🤭 )and have greatly appreciated the ability to switch schedules when things pop up or going out of town. They have, in a sort of way, become like friendly neighbors you just want to chat with! Highly recommend them! Here’s a short video of my visit today.
